Who We Are
The South African Bowhunters Association (SABA) is a voluntary, non-profit organisation formed by bowhunters for bowhunters.
Our mission is to promote ethical bowhunting, conservation awareness, and the continuous development of bowhunters throughout South Africa.
Since our establishment, SABA has worked to build trust with government, conservation bodies, and the broader hunting community. We ensure that bowhunting is recognised, respected, and responsibly practised nationwide.
Our Focus
SABA focuses on every aspect of the bowhunting experience, from education and training to advocacy and representation.
We aim to:
- Promote ethical and responsible bowhunting
- Educate new and experienced bowhunters through ongoing development
- Influence public and governmental perceptions positively
- Recruit and unite members under one national bowhunting community
